Hi I'm John Whitney and I'm in independent driving instructor based in Peacehaven, East Sussex.

I qualified in 2004 and since then I've been teaching new, old and nervous drivers how to pass their practical driving tests. My approach is to teach my pupils how to drive in the shortest time and as safely as possible so that they recommend me to others. I cover the areas between Brighton and Seaford and use the MPTC at Burgess Hill and the Eastbourne Test Centre.

I’ve recently upgraded to a diesel Alfa Romeo MiTo
with a manual gearbox. It's sporty, comfortable,
and an easy car to drive which makes it more
fun to learn in.
